Some local flavor, web style
I spend a lot of time on the web. Here are some site with local ties that I have fallen in love with:
Mullet Like Me: This is the blog of a local gent who is on a mission-discover what life is like if you have a mullet. Every post is gold.
Bachmann Watch: This site is dedicated to taking down Michelle Bachmann. I cannot tell you how funny this site is, no matter which side of the aisle you are on. Does it feel like a tabloid to anyone else?

A tabloid?
You’ve out yourself as a Republican in a previous post. Do your career a favor and stay away from Bachmann.
I mean, I don’t want to assume your relationship with facts is as challenged as Representative Bachmann’s but you’ve give me absolutely no reason to do so.
Referring to that DCCC website as a "tabloid" is certainly off-base. In what way, Mitchell, does it’s content or presentation substantially depart from a local netroots anti-Bachmann blog like Dump Michelle Bachmann?
You clearly think the topic of Rep. Bachmann is funny. Personally, I don’t think a House member should be networking with a blogger like The Admiral at LML after he wrote this last month about her colleague Barney Frank: "Hey! Fudge Packer, do America a favor, hang yourself. It’s the right thing to do. Fruity bastard." Oh, did I mention he previously called for President Obama to be assassinated?
Yep, that DCCC site sure is outrageous and tabloid-esque.
I simply meant that the format felt like a tabloid. it just seemed like an odd page on the DCCC site. I will make no claims regarding content-just that an attack site hosted on the DCCC site is funny to me.
I never claimed the site was outrageous. just that I felt it was noteworthy and worth sharing.
Even those of us who aren’t card carrying progressives can smirk when The Daily Show skewers Bachmann (as they just did 30 minutes ago). Wonder what a site devoted to Joe Biden’s foot-in-mouth comments would look like and more importantly, if dems would allow themselves some bemusement?
