Make your breakfast beer green tomorrow

We love being IrishHappy early Saint Paddy’s Day, Twin Cities! And a lovely one it should be; a divine entity (iPhone) predicts weather in the 50s tomorrow. How many of you are taking the day off work to celebrate your Irish roots, raise hell with your pals, or simply fulfill your lingering alcohol addiction in public with no questions asked? Whatever your reason may be, make the most of your day off.

Plenty of events are happening in Minneapolis/Saint Paul tomorrow to help you do just that:

Your KDWB DJs (love them or hate them) are putting on an impressive party at Kip’s Irish Pub. The Irish Music & Dance Association will have music, dancing and activities at the Landmark Center in Saint Paul. There are also two parades. For more, check out Twin Cities MetroMix or Metro Magazine’s list of events.

Since my financial situation forces me to work instead of commemorate Irish tradition, I will be taking my family to the evening parade in Minneapolis. If you must miss out, I’ll be sure to post pictures of the event. Party on and be safe!

My financial situation requires that I be to work tomorrow morning and not be hung over, so this half-Irish will be staying home.

I wonder how much green dye Americans ingested yesterday?
