U of M Reality Show Intern
Ever since I found myself with a dog, I’ve been obsessed with Animal Planet. Mainly, I try to convince my dog that with enough hard work and practice he can be on all the cool shows. Meanwhile, he’s busy licking the spot where his nuts used to be and trying to figure out how he’s going to kill the 12-year-old hooligans that walk by my balcony on a daily basis.
A couple of days ago, I stumbled upon a somewhat new show to the network called E-Vet Interns. And wouldn’t you know there’s an intern from the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine?
Heather (Hadley) brings strong intelligence as well as deep compassion to her work. She regularly exhibits these traits at Alameda East as she focuses on her goal of becoming a surgeon. Heather is also interested in learning more about cardiology, internal medicine and the human-animal bond. (link)
The U’s Veterinary Medicine program has always been nationally recognized for its teaching and research excellence within the industry, as far as I know, so it’s good to see it making the jump into reality television, where it can earn even more credibility, right?
She’s kind of cute.
Less cute now:
Dr. Hadley is joined in Colorado by her husband, Brian, and their 4-year-old miniature dachshund, Jetta.
Enh, well, they can’t all be winners.
