One thing that I don’t understand is why MPLS is not an automatic stop for national concert tours. I just found out that Kraftwerk and Ivy are both playing Detroit & Chicago, but bypassing the Twin Cities.
Am I the only one upset by this?
I moved here from Des Moines, IA a little over a year ago, and I have to say that it could be INCREDIBLY worse. I can hit at least one concert a week from a national and/or Indy group up here. Back in Iowa, we
I know what you mean. I wanted to see Madonna on her last tour and she didn’t make it here. I’m not that ambitious to drive to Chicago just to see a concert.
Yeah…I was disappointed as well. Not surprised, mind you. The last time Kraftwerk played minneapolis was 1975; I was all of 38 days old, so I sadly missed that show. Considering they are only playing 5 cities in the US this time around, I’d say it could be a lot worse than a drive to Chicago. :)
