I hadn’t planned on waiting so long to make my first Metroblog post, but then I hadn’t expected my son to be born seven weeks premature either. He came into the world within a couple of days of Minneapolis going live, and you’d be amazed at how suddenly becoming a first-time father can make other stuff slide a few notches down the priority list. Even stuff like posting here.

Although I live in Southwest Minneapolis, I’ve spent quite a bit of the past month in St. Paul, where the little guy was busy getting big enough to leave the hospital. Now he’s home, and I find that I’m positively made of time. Except not really.

I’ll post more, I promise. Just because it’s not hard to post more than none. In the meantime, have a link to a relevant McSweeney’s piece, courtesy of my homie Zen Viking.
