Recycle Your Electronicals at the MOA

Today, tomorrow, and Saturday, from 6am to 5pm, in the north parking lot across from IKEA.

You CAN bring all consumer or residential electronics, such as:

Computers, monitors, hard drives, keyboards, TV’s VCRs/DVD players, phones, cell phones, cables, adaptors, steroes, and small appliances (microwaves, toasters, etc.)

You CANNOT bring:

Large appliances (stoves, dishwashers, etc.), anything with liquid material (such as refrigerators), and fluorescent bulbs.

I have a number of items that have been sitting around my apartment that I don’t know whether I should craigslist or eBay or throw out or what. Recycling is a pretty good option.

No way! I mean, it’s good that people actually recycled this stuff. I hope this doesn’t mean that the stuff gets dumped instead.

If I had already gone to the trouble of loading up my car, especially if it’s something bulky like a computer, I’d want to go ahead and get rid of it instead of taking it back home. Which means I’d probably ride around with it in my trunk for months.

There is a computer recycling center somewhere (else) in Bloomington.
