So this is my third Christmas as a Twin Cities resident, and I again skipped the Holidazzle, the Marshall Field

I’ve never done the Holidazzle parade or the Marshall Field’s (or Dayton’s, or whatever) display, either. I might have been to the MOA once during a holiday season. Don’t think I’ve willingly participated in Winter Carnival, either.
We’re all still alive, eh?

Karma got me again! Was headed downtown last night to catch the T-wolves game and got stuck in Holidazzle traffic congestion. I quickly parked my car and hoofed it across Nicollet to make tip-off. Or course, I had to fight through the throngs of people waiting to look at stupid light-up floats. Guess I can’t say I haven’t “seen” it now, although I certainly didn’t “watch” it. (btw, T-wolves won!)

Never done the Holidazzle, and the only Winter Carnival thing I do is visiting the Ice Palace. The Dayton’s Display was a family tradition, so I plan to go during my week off next week.

Hey, I live downtown, and I’ve never purposely gone to Holidazzle (I got caught in it shopping one night) and I’ve never been to the Marshall Fields. Alas, I did go to MOA, mostly because it’s the only mall on the light rail line.
