My memory sharing will be a bit disjointed, but please bear with me...

I vaguely remember "Rock With You" and "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" but those were released in my early elementary school years. (You should soon find a theme emerging...)

I remember watching the 1983 American Music Awards and witnessing the first Moonwalk live. You'd better believe my 5th grade classmates and I were buzzing the next day at school about what we saw! :)

I remember the early years of MTV and loving both "Billie Jean" and "Beat It". To this day, "Beat It" is my favorite dance battle song. :)

When "Thriller" came out, we couldn't wait to see the video again and again. You know we practiced ALL of those moves until we knew the dance! haha Never got tired of seeing that video... (That was like 6th grade.)

"Bad" came out when I was in high school and initially, I was kind of skeptical. The "Bad" video was awesome but he'd set the bar high with earlier work. "Smooth Criminal" was, and probably still is, one of the my favorite videos. (I think it's Version 2... you know there's more than one.) "Man in the Mirror" was awesome. I don't know if "Leave Me Alone" came from this album, but I liked the unique video for the song.

"Dangerous" came out when I was in college and "Black and White" was the first release. Didn't love it too much initially but the video was cute. :) The album is actually bangin' though.

I stopped here because my comment was becoming a tad long. Needless to say, when I heard the news yesterday, I had a difficult time processing the news. No matter what personal issues MJ may have had, he is obviously a musical genius. I also love his dancing and punctuated dance moves - definitely a signature.
