What color is that sky Timmy?
As I’m sure everyone has heard by now it’s been leaked Pawlenty will not be running for a third term of Minnesota Governor, thus ending speculation on prior comments he made about term limits.
I’d like you to take at look at two of his recent Tweets,
“mtg soon with cabinet members & staff re balancing budget & cleaning up mess left behind by DFL #mnleg. I won’t raise taxes on MN citizens
Here’s the thing champ, the mess wasn’t left behind the DFL. The mess was left behind by the legislature which is composed of both DFL and GOP; heck there’s even occasionally an Independent all up in the mix.
Though, you knew that, your tweet was really more about talking points for the brain dead. Let me share this little bit of insight with you on the “mess”, you touched it last, which in the real world makes it your mess. Just ask anyone that has a job outside of the public sector. Think about that, it’s now *your* mess. Especially since you bragged about cleaning it up.
We’ll see if history is kind to you.
Then there’s this tweet,
“
DFL #mnleg failed to enact balanced budget or any reforms. Now flying around state to brag about it. What color is the sky in their world?
Indeed, what color is the sky in their world? I’d like to know, since you seem to share that world with them and many of us on the outside wonder the same thing about you, as well as them. Another little point, you sure like to play the blame game, so let me remind you that if there was a failure to enact a balanced budget or any reforms the failure doesn’t fall squarely on the DFL as you attempt to guide it. Nope, the GOP shares a good part of that failure as well.
Who am I kidding?
It’s not like Pawlenty will ever read this.
Still I have to wonder. If I were someone that made things happen for the Republican party, you know a real power broker , what use would I have for a leader that has shown the same type of management style as George W. Bush. You know, the very leader that handed the current DFL the keys to the car.
Not to mention Pawlenty is leaving a ticking PR time bomb within Minnesota that should be ready to explode right around the next election cycle.
Of course, I’m no GOP power broker, I’m just a guy that wonders what color the sky is in Pawlenty’s world.
Is it colored presidentially?
Do you think Pawlenty has the capabilities to run our country?
.

Republicans should pick an actual Conservative for 2012, as opposed to moderates like McCain and T-Paw. When people see the only options as Democrat and Democrat-Lite, they will pick the Democrat.
Food for thought.
