Minnpost Launches Blog Feature

I noticed this morning that Minnpost has a new feature called Minnesota Blog Cabin.

“MinnPost launches Minnesota Blog Cabin, keeping an eye on the state’s blogosphere: http://minnpo.st/l3857064

The concept kind of reminds me of the long gone Citypages “Blog of the Day” entry turned into a feature.

From the article: “So, what can you expect to read about in my posts?
Stories of real Minnesotans who aren’t afraid to use this new technology in an interesting and personal way.

You’ll meet Minnesotans who are joining the global conversation, simply because they can. Should a Minnesota angle crop up on a national blog, we’ll try point you there as well.”

 I’ve already teased them.

Honestly, I like the idea. A lot. There are a large variety of MN blogs full of Minnesotan experiences and stories. Besides you can’t bring enough attention to Mn Blogs, especially mine.

What do you think?

So, if I understand correctly, if a right wing blog endorses this feature, does that make them a Blog Cabin Republican?

I like the idea behind it and also got Piehowski’s (the writer) attention. It seems that with MNSpeak/SOTC seemingly ditching the daily blog roundup, there is a hole for something of this nature and kudos to Minnpost for doing this.
