In high school, I worked at a local burger place, and the more disgustingly huge a person's order, the more likely they were to order a (large) DIET Coke. People ordering regular Coke would usually do it with a more reasonable meal (or as reasonable as you could get in a burger joint) and would get a small or a maybe a medium. In some way, I think these people felt that they were "cancelling out" their poor food choices with the diet soda. Sadly, that photo is quite true to life. In high school, I worked at a local burger place, and the more disgustingly huge a person’s order, the more likely they were to order a (large) DIET Coke.
