The No on 8 rally, part of a worldwide show of solidarity with pro-gay-marriage California citizens, took place in Minneapolis at Government Plaza this afternoon. It got attention in the local

    Thanks to all for your support. A dear friend and principal in the St Paul school district was at your march today.

    I don’t think the folks that wrote Prop 8 and put it on the ballot expected a national reaction. Nice to see it did. Some 10,000+ were were DtLA for the protest today. Numberous cities all over CA and eventually stood up and made it known forcing dogma via legislation, down our throats and into our homes is not right. Maybe this was the spark needed to bring this next phase of Civil Rights to the fore front.
