I Voted: Sticker vs. Finger

The “I Voted” sticker is great and all. In fact, I see people all around the office and neighborhood gas station sporting their stickers today looking all smarmy.

“Oooh…look at my stiiicker. I voted today..oh yeah, check that out, eh? Where’s your sticker?”

It’s actually eye-roll-inducing, to a point. I bet you are sporting your “I Voted” sticker this very minute. Well?

But sometimes I think it would be cool to do the purple finger dye thing like the Iraqi elections. Nothing says patriotism and civic duty like a purple finger.

Now *that’s* something to show off to your friends. (P.S. Think of the freebies you could get wagging that thing around)
