I’m not trying to make excuses, but the Titans just intercepted the Vikes and the game is now tied at 7. I have been warning Gus about those short passes. Even the big catch that lead up to our first td was just short and overly risky.
Anywho. I’m wearing my Gopher football shirt, watching the Vikes, and thinking about the Wild.
How about that Gopher Hockey?

The Gophers are a lot better than I expected they would be. I was down in Madison for the Bucky series, and while they dominated on Friday night, they were lucky to get out with a win. And Saturday was what we expected from them after the strong showing the day before. They seem to have started a trend though, tie on Friday, crush on Saturday.
I was also at the Gopher Football game yesterday. That royally sucked. Stupid cursed football team. At least we have Michigan at home next weekend.

Moe – Being a lifelong Bulldog fan I have developed a respect and affinity for the modern day Mankato and Gophers rivalry. Too bad Saturday was such a crushing.
As for the football game I think of the line from Batman Begins.

I wrote at the other thread that I think we jinxed the Gopher football team by talking about their success-to-date. I’m hoping for a quick rebound! :)
I was happy the Vikes won on Sunday! Now if the Timberpups could get it going…
Jarrin – The pups are making me look bad. I’ve been expecting a much improved team and talking them up to my buddies, perhaps I’ve jinxed them too.
I watched them go on a run the other night against Dallas where I don’t think they scored for 7 or 8 minutes. Ugh.
David… I went to school in Duluth, but even then I was a Gopher fan. And this was during the Dave Spehar days, when everyone at UMD hated the Gophers. But it made for some excellent nights at the Decc when the Gophers were in town. Though I think I missed a lot of game time while drinking at the Curling Club.
Tough loss for the Gophers, it will be nice when they are in the new stadium. Good win for the Vikes against the Texans. Bring on the Cheese Heads
Moe – I’m from Duluth and I grew up in the Hull era, I’ll always be a Bulldog first. Man, those games at the Decc were legendary.
Moose – Bring on the Cheeseheads! We are so overdue for a win against the Pack that it’s a must win. If we lose I’ll take a Metblog Pack fan out for a beverage.

Will Sebastian Telfair’s return have a significant impact? I haven’t yet watched the ‘Pups play (on TV) this season but I’m wondering how Kevin Love’s doing?
