I'm thinking they're trying to recoup at least some of the costs of manufacturing the yard signs so they can use the money to run TV ads and the like - stuff that has the potential to reach more people.

I have a friend running for Mn House Rep this year and he tells me a small sign costs $15, that's for two colors and nothing fancy.

With all the money Obama has raised I'm suprised the campaign charges supporters for signs. I wonder if the money spent on a sign is tax deductible?

$7? Wow. I was thinking more like $2. When we went to the campaign office, I fully expected them to charge me for it and they didn't, so I had no idea how much they cost.

I bet I know why it was stolen. The Obama campaign charges $7 for a sign. That's a heft sum considering the product.
