Personally, I think the police were necessary, did a good job, and in some instances exasperated a bad situation.

The word is "exacerbate."

Norm Coleman and Jeff Larson are the two key people that brought the RNC to Saint Paul. Norm Coleman also had an invite-only "cruise" on Stan Hubbard's boat on the evening of September 1st which was apparently part of his Senate Campaign, not the RNC. Of course, you could follow this money too.
