Just Another Music Friday - 09-05-2008
I’m back from Vacation and ready to rock. While on vacation I bought the new Islands CD (which I love) and took a risk on a Muse CD I haven’t listened to yet, but I did sample a few of the songs at the Duluth Electric Fetus and found them interesting.
Did anyone see the Billy Bragg show at the Parkway? What did you think?

Listening to The Mattoid, Joseph Arthur and Houseguest. Really liking the new Shugo Tokumaru most of all, though.

I hadn’t heard Black Holes & Revelations all the way through. Now I’m kicking myself for not getting H.A.A.R.P too.
I saw the show Tuesday at the Parkway & despite the fact it started late & there were a few sound issues it was great. Wake Up World, which was the show Billy preformed after, was pretty funny. What a great intimate place to see BIlly Bragg who was his usual funny, poignant self.
