Young Minnesotans Making an Impression - St. Paul Johnson Students
While many area students are taking the summer off a small group of Johnson High students in Saint Paul have raised $3,000 for St. Paul Project Homeless.
From the Star Tribune article “With the help of their guidance counselor, Dan Kennedy, they’ve been going house to house and business to business a few days a week since June. ”

“It seems nobody’s quite sure where the idea for the project came from, but the four students have been eager to donate their time, Kennedy said. “To get four kids who said, ‘This is my No. 1 priority, I’m going to give 8, 10 hours a day,’ when it can be very frustrating,” Kennedy said. “It’s a very altruistic thing.” It is summer vacation, after all. “
In the above picture I see four future leaders and a guidance counselor that wants to make a difference in the world.
Kudos. I find them to be an inspiring group.
What do you think?

I know I would not have been so altruistic as a teenager. Good for them! I’d be curious to see their pitch.
Those kids are fantastic.
