    It was a typical Norwegian in MN event. A bunch of old white haired poeple talking about how much more Norwegian we are then those still in Norway.

    It’s too bad the event isn’t more fun. The Swedes are just so much better organized, the Irish have beer for St. Patrick’s Day, and the Mexicans have been and great food for Cinco de Mayo.

    That’s the first problem: Norwegians don’t have any good (i.e., tasty) food or beverages. Maybe lefse. That’s it.

    Aquavit is awesome, but that could get very dangerous if that started flowing.
