We are Twin Citi-whosiwhatsits?
I’m sure there’s some kind of style guide reasoning behind “Twin Citians” but it just sounds mealy-mouthed. “Twin Citizens” has more chutzpah. Twin Citizen would totally kick Twin Citian’s ass in a fight.
But that’s just me. What do you say? How do you refer to your hometown peeps to your friends from out of town?

I’ve used that too, but I was trying to be nice to St Paul.
Hell yeah! Twin Citizens!
St. what?
I like to call us all Saint Paulites. It’s a unity thing.
For the record, I saw "Twin Citians" in a MinnPost article today (lots, actually) and it kept bothering me, like, all day.
I’ve liked "MinneaPaulitan" as the endonym for someone who’s a resident of the central cities.
For the whole metro, Twin Citizens for damn sure.
MinneaPaulitan
I’ve never heard that one before. Interesting.
What’s wrong with Minnesotan, it’s not like anyone actually lives outside the TwinCities anyway.
