Jesse Watch

Jesse Ventura will be on Larry King Live tonight to announce (whether or not) he’ll be running for senate.

From CNN’s Larry King Live page:

Jesse Ventura: Will he run for U.S. Senate… or not? He’s made his decision and announces it FIRST and ONLY on Larry King Live.

Does anyone think there’s any suspense left in this? We already know he hates the media, so the fact that he’s not talking to anyone else means nothing. So that leaves the question: who the hell announces on national (cable) television that they’re not going to do something?

…oh right. If anyone, it’d be Jesse.

Quick! Before tonight: what is your take? Is he in? I say he’s in.

Man, Ventura sure is a character. He strung Larry King along for a while before bowing out. I thought he came off like a big pompous jerk. Too bad he’s not really running. It definitely would’ve spiced things up for the rest of the summer.

I’d expect nothing less. I was really ambivalent about his running. On the one hand, yeah, it’d spice things up. On the other hand, the rest of the country would be laughing at us. Again.
