Glad I could help. You should be able to unscrew the legs and bring them in to exchange for a new set (call ahead). Realistically, you can use a marker to darken the nicks and you'll forget about them and no one else will notice. And next time, just buy a good microfiber fabric and you won't need the stain-treatment, which is expensive and not always worth it.
About the bed set...good luck, especially with mattresses, which can be a real nightmare...

That's a fantastic tip! They delivered the correct piece this weekend, albeit the legs were all chipped, and it wasn't stain-treated. Overall, Slumberland lost a customer forever, which is unfortunate for them since I'm in the market for a bed set.

Here's a tip...I used to work in furniture sales, not at Slumberland, and the key is that when there's a problem, you must refuse the entire order and have them take everything back on the truck. If you have nothing in your home, you have the upper hand. You can cancel the purchase, block the credit card charge, refuse the financing. Once some of the pieces are in your possession, you lose the power in the discussion. Also, the salesperson, who usually doesn't get a commission until after delivery, has a stake in fixing the problem. Once part of the items are in your home, the service department takes over and the salesperson can't advocate for you.
