Realistically, you can use a marker to darken the nicks and you'll forget about them and no one else will notice. And next time, just buy a good microfiber fabric and you won't need the stain-treatment, which is expensive and not always worth it. They delivered the correct piece this weekend, albeit the legs were all chipped, and it wasn't stain-treated. If you have nothing in your home, you have the upper hand. You can cancel the purchase, block the credit card charge, refuse the financing. Once some of the pieces are in your possession, you lose the power in the discussion. Also, the salesperson, who usually doesn't get a commission until after delivery, has a stake in fixing the problem. Once part of the items are in your home, the service department takes over and the salesperson can't advocate for you.
