Rank the TC in Travel + Leisure’s America’s Hottest Cities Survey

Travel + Leisure is conducting an America’s Favorite Cities survey. We’ve already made their cutoff of the top 25 hottest cities in America. If you want to take three minutes out of your day, you can rank Minneapolis/St. Paul on a number of factors (scale of 1 to 5) in eight differerent categories: Culture, Shopping, Nightlife, Quality of Life/Visitor Experience, People, Food/Dining, Type of Trip, and Holiday Travel.

You could argue over methodology, but that’s putting way too much effort into it. Okay, just two things: 1. Quality of Life and Visitor Experience should be two separate categories. 2. “Attractiveness” is one of the rankings in the People category. We’re screwed.

Trying to answer the questions honestly and not inflate in the interest of winning, I gave us pretty high marks. I think an average of 4 out of 5 across all categories.

It does not ask one question about professional sports.

You can enter to win a trip to Australia when you’re done filling the survey out.
