CSA Fair on Sunday
Aside from taking a vacation to somewhere warm (my strategy) or getting one of those grow lights for people, perhaps the best way to combat your SAD is to fake it ’til you make it.
So paste on a smile and a coat and head to Let’s Cook on Sunday from noon-4pm* for an agriculture fair.
The Mill City Farmers Market is partnering with the Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market and kitchenware store and school Let’s Cook for a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Fair March 9.
The free event gives Minneapolis residents a chance to meet farmers from 11 different farms and learn about CSA, a food production and distribution model that directly links a farm to a supporting community.
Hourly talks about CSA will also be offered.
*Daylight Saving Time kicks in Saturday night/Sunday morning, so make sure you’ve got your time straight.
