Places to Find Out About Artsy Stuff Online

For the breeze-through feedreading types who want their content curated, Max has put significant effort into bringing attention to the local fine arts scene over at MNspeak. Check both the Arts & Literature and the Film & Theater categories.

I randomly stumbled on Start Seeing Art just today. It’s dedicated to “mapping and identifying public art in the Twin Cities.” There’s a nice clicky Google Map. Click on the red pin for the pop-up, then click through for photos and more description. It’s a little tricky to navigate, so play with the map or go right to the archives for artist names and art types. You can also help identify unknown artwork, if you have that sort of information.

Any other suggestions?

The Artsy Twin Cities group on flickr has photos, many of them mapped.

Hey, thanks for plugging Start Seeing Art! I do apologize for the slow updates of late and yes, the navigation is a bit clunky. But it’s slowly getting better.

    thanks!
