This Friday night (Dec 7), Pi is hosting soul night!

Dress to impress, come early for dinner and stay to dance to your favorite grooves. Soul Friday dinner specials will include fish ‘n chips or chicken wings by guest chefs Susan Brooks and Eva Robinson. Eva will also be presenting her famous cakes. DJ Courtney (9 - midnight) and DJ Naughty Boy (midnight -2am) will be spinning old school soul and new, R&B, house, hip-hop and even a steppers set.

DJ Naughty Boy (aka Tori Fixx) has this to say:

I just wanted to drop in and let yal know that i’m truly lookin’ forward to playin with Dj Courtney for YOU ALL that night. It’s the first full fledge SOUL/R&B theme night and I get to break out the good stuff and tear it up! See yal soon.

I’m old and I’m not sure I can hang that late anymore, but this should be pretty freakin’ cool. Yeah, Pi is a gay bar, but brown folks don’t get this opportunity much in the TC, so I hope the turnout is good.
