Family Friendly Halloween

Baby_Einstein_Dragon_Costume.jpgLooking for an alternative to trekking around your local neighborhood banging on doors with lit porchlights but nobody answering the door?

Following are a few family events I found with a quick search, including some indoor events. Nothing beats working for your candy, but at least these will guarantee sugarliciousness — rain or shine.

-Minnesota Zoo’s HalZOOween
-Como Zoo’s ZooBoo
-Mall of America’s “Park After Dark”
-Halloween Fun Fly (flying kites)
-Minnesota Children’s Museum’s Habitot Halloween
-Eden Prairie Center’s “Halloween on the Mall”
-Fall Festival at Eden Prairie High School
-Great Pumpkin Festival at Landmark Center

Please post others you know of in the comments and any recommendations. I think we’re going to try to hit the ZooBoo with my 15 month-old tomorrow.
