Worst place in the TC for a flashing red light

This weekend, the traffic lights by the Walker were on a flashing red status. That means the intersection is now a four-way stop. Traditionally, we as Twin Citians don’t do well with four-way stops. The intersection by the Walker is actually two four-way stops right next to each other, so more of an eight-way stop. Oh, the humanity. Saturday afternoon, it was a parking lot. I really think the city ought to have had someone there directing traffic, instead of just letting flash red. Or another thought…fix the light!

I don’t know that light at the intersection of dean parkway and lake is pretty bad too.

That light seems to go out everytime the clouds even shead one single tear.

But a cop on a weekend…come on now, cops are union and that means overtime. Maybe that extra half a cent sales tax could buy us some time though.

Oh, there was a little old lady trying to turn south on Hennepin from westbound Oak Grove. Poor lady waited through at least three or four cycles of traffic. Traffic on Hennepin didn’t seem too bad, but trying to turn on to Hennepin had to have sucked.

They must be low on traffic cops because they’ve been training new traffic cops on Franklin avenue in the middle of the day.
