Live Earth with cheese

There are a TON of great concerts today, on the lauded 7/7/07.

Here’s one you may not have heard of over at the Anathoth Community Farm in Luck, Wisconsin (90 min from Mpls):
You can go to a soccer stadium and see Bon Jovi, or you can come to Luck and see world class music in an eco-village where the future of energy will be right before your eyes: photovoltaic electricity, solar thermal hot water, passive solar heating, phytoremediated graywater, solar/LED street lights, greenhouses, composting toilets, solar ovens, and more.

Headlining is Buckwheat Zydeco — “the best party band in America ” — with Devon Evans, Natty Nation (reggae), Savage Aural Hotbed (industrial percussion), Woody McBride aka djESP (techno dance), Bedlam (Irish), Nama Rupa (psychedelic swamp reggae), Floydian Slip (jam/rock), Command Zulu (political techno folk), St. Croix Tribal Dancers and the Gii Taa’se ( Circle Walker ) Singers and the Illumination Fire Troupe.

Come for the weekend which includes free parking, free camping, hiking trails, biking (BYOB), canoeing( BYOC), swimming (nearby), sand volleyball, children’s area, food court, beer garden, tours of the eco village, and the most scenic bonfire hill in all of Wisconsin. More info here.
