So long, SotanLife.

I was wondering what happened to SotanLife.com.

Only vaguely, mind you. In passing.

(Sotan? Really?)

As doodledee reports, SotanLife is gone and mnpulse.com waits to take it’s place.

Meh.

I havw fond memories of peeing at Maxwell’s while staring at a SotanLife sign wondering what that meant. It eventually dawned on me that Sotan was some kind of new nic for MN.

I think SotanLife.com is the only place it’s ever been used.

Meh indeed. Maybe it’s gone because there were a lot of people about me who saw a poster or online ad, looked at the site it once or twice, and didn’t find it the least bit useful or engaging. I’m preparing another meh for its replacement.

Maybe they could’ve invested less money advertising it and more money creating compelling content. Just a thought…

Much of SotanLife/MNPulse is run by one person. Who’s working on making it compelling and useful.

I look forward to seeing it, at least ;)

Well, I certainly understand how that can make it difficult.

I still have beef with that “Sotan” thing, though. Seriously, don’t ever do that again.

I checked the site out once or twice and laughed at his personal stories, especially about scamming extra drinks late night at nightclubs and then regaling about having to ride a bike, guess it caught up with him.

I personally use http://www.twincitiesfun.com for finding neat places to go, alot of content and with their perks cards, I can go out and have fun without blowing the rest of my paycheck in one night.
