If you’re in Uptown this afternoon, swing by CalSurf and check out the mural going up on the east side of the building. My friend John Grider, along with some others, are currently working on some building-sized art there. There’s more and more of his murals going up around town, so if you go over there today, you can see this one in progress. I just found out about it yesterday when biking back from the St. Louis Park Library. I saw his sister walking to Lake Calhoun and she told me about it. I decided to bike over and check it out, and John was there along with his crew. It’s quite a sight watching these murals being done.
