File this under things you probably didn’t know (or if you did, perhaps you have too much free time on the Internet, Erica): In his free time, Saint Paul Mayor Chris Coleman enjoys playing the bagpipes.
And who says being full of hot air is a bad thing?
All jokes aside, playing the national instrument of Scotland comes in handy when Scottish rocker Rod Stewart comes to town. Stewart invited the Macalester College Pipe Band featuring Mayor Coleman to perform prior to the start of his concert on tomorrow at Xcel Energy Center.
In addition to their performance at the Rod Stewart concert, the Macalester College Pipe Band will perform on Saturday, May 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Macalester College Concert Hall.
