This Saturday, the Midtown Greenway Coalition [1] will co-host a tree planting event along the western portion of the Greenway.
At 9 AM, a kickoff ceremony on the Greenway will be held over at the Anne Sullivan School [2]. They’re looking for volunteers for the four locations below, starting at 9:30 AM:
– 26th Avenue South
– Anne Sullivan School, 3100 East 28th Street
– 30th Avenue South
– Brackett Park entrance ramp
Food, beverages and shovels will be provided. For more details, go here [3]!
On a similar note, Home Depot is sponsoring a tree planting campaign that will be in Minneapolis on May 11th. Check this out [4] for the scoop.
