trivial
I had an anonymous comment on my blog today asking where a good place to do trivia is.
Now, I’m not giving away my favorite spot — that might ruin all the fun.
But it did get me to thinking, are there other great places to sit down with friends and a libation of choice to do pub trivia?
I know Kieran’s and Brits both do it.
I’ve also heard the 331 in Northeast has trivia.
Anyone else have a recommendation? Or alternately, a spot you wouldn’t recommend?

I’d recommend Sean and Chuck’s Trivia night at the 331. The format is standard pub style trivia although they do have a music round - identify a song and the artist. Each week they feature a different DJ. Madras are $2.50 all night and wine is half off before 9pm. Sean and Chuck have their own myspace.
Both Leaning Tower of Pizza locations have trivia on Tuesday as far as I know. Its been awhile but 1st prize was $35.00 bar tab and they had 1/2 price appetizers.
I’ve also heard that Tracy’s Saloon on Franklin has trivia Wednesdays, 8pm.
Keegan’s has pub quiz on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Grumpy’s downtown has trivia on Wednesday nights.
I started to write a post about this a while back and then I got sidetracked. There’s also Triviasco at downtown Luce on Wednesdays. No word on how good that is, but The Onion’s weekly events newsletter pimps it pretty hard.
we’re at keegan’s almost every thursday. i’ve heard good things about grumpy’s trivia, but haven’t been.
i dunno if they still do trivia at luce, but it sucks.
The Nomad World Pub has happy hour (2-4-1) all day, every monday with a pretty fun trivia starting at around 9pm.
