Snow Advisory For Metro Area

snowadvisory2.JPGIn case you didn’t notice, it was super nice out two weekends ago. Then it was cold, rainy and just damn horrible last week and all weekend.

Today the sun is out, we hit 50 degrees and I contemplated leaving my jacket in the car again. It’s officially spring, so maybe the chirping birds, green grass and driving around with my windows cracked is going to my head. I thought spring was here for good.

But that old man winter is a stubborn bastard. According to the AP:

A snow advisory has also been issued for east central Minnesota and west central Wisconsin, including the Twin Cities, starting Tuesday morning through Tuesday night.

They’re saying 2-5 inches of new snow. Paul Douglas said he expects the freeways in the Twin Cities to be slushy Tuesday, “but the evening commute could be messy.”

We know how often weather forecasting is accurate, but I still trust this forecast enough to wish global warming was actually real and could help us get to spring even faster.

I’m planning on biking tomorrow at 6:45am. Hopefully, not in the snow in April!
