Do you love, or loathe, the green beer?

I’ll be with friends at my place celebrating a birthday, but for all of you out on the town tomorrow night, here are a few of the lesser-known things for you to chew on!

First though, just a reminder that MetroTransit has free rides on all buses and trains starting at 3 PM!

  • CC Club: Buy one of four collectible Guinness glasses and have it filled for $6
  • Pi: Free Jameson samples and merchandise give-aways from 6pm-8pm, $4 shots of Jameson and $3 pints of Guinness from 8-close, special menu from 4-10.
  • Lee’s Liquor Lounge: Le Cirque Rouge Burlesque and Cabaret, Grace Darling. Angie Oase. Music starts at 9pm, $7

    And the parades… don’t forget the parades!
    St. Paul, at 12 PM
    Minneapolis, at 6:30 PM

      Our plans? We will be promoting another form of “green alcohol” at Rice Park:

      Look for the E85 vehicle display from the American Lung Association of Minnesota across from the Ordway entrance on Saturday, March 17, after the Parade.

      Put me down for “loathe.” I know, I know… it’s only once a year. But green beer just puts me off my drink. And food. And general zesty lust for life.

      I’m not much a fan of drinking solely for the purpose of getting drunk, so I’ll be cozy and content at my friends’ housewarming party. And all the beer I like to drink is too dark to be colored green.
