Will Work for Food Artists Collective

Speaking of empty-looking storefronts, and in fact right next to the restaurant in the previous post, Theatre Antiques will be hosting a gallery opening for the Will Work for Food Artists Collective, of which my friend John Grider is a member. In fact, he has a sample of his work pictured in the City Pages this week in the A-List for Friday events.

The opening goes all weekend, starting Friday night, 16 March 2007 at 7pm, and there will be many artists, as well as DJs spinning. I’ve been to a few of John’s openings in the past, and they’re always a lot of fun. The art is incredible, the music is really good, and wine is pretty tasty. Not sure what they’ll be having for refreshments, but this is right at Lyn-Lake, so there are plenty of dining options as well (Machu Picchu next door for example).

I know an artist who would love to join your team. How can it be done? will this artists have the opportunity to display art in the show next year if not this one?
