Sweet, sweet caffeination….
Starbucks is holding their “Coffee Break” this Thursday from 10 AM to 12 PM:
“Enjoy a 12 fl oz cup of premium drip coffee on us–and moment to yourself to do whatever you’d like”.
Plan ahead and find your closest Starbucks!

I’ve been trying to wean myself from caffeinated coffee, though that plan has been somewhat derailed by my new french press. But I’ve been drinking a big ol’ cup of Starbucks coffee (just coffee, no latte or anything fancy) every morning for the last five days, and it’s good. Yum.
I will have no qualms about leaving work in the middle of the day Thursday to go get my free cuppa.
I’m betting all Starbucks downtown locations will be swamped. I hope the one by Eden Prairie Center isn’t too busy. I suspect I’ll have to navigate some strollers.
A 12oz coffee at Buckies costs what, $1.69? Is it really worth missing work and standing in line for that?
It’s like when Ben & Jerry’s in Stadium Village was giving away a free ice cream cone and the line was around the block. I understand that students are poor and all, but that ice cream will only cost a couple of bucks the next day.
Is it really worth missing work and standing in line for that?
It is if you don’t want to be at work.
E, you said it…!
I would leave work for free toothpicks.
