Spiritually Righteous Ice Cream

It is heinously warm out there today. This is a perfect day to bust out the first ice cream cone of the year — may I recommend that my fellow Uptown residents trudge out to the Blue Sky Creamery on Lake Street and order a waffle cone of Blue Moon? That stuff is right. And according to the Interblogs:

Blue Moon ice cream is also known as a defense against “The Wigwam,” a mythological place originating in central Wisconsin. It is said that Blue Moon acts as though it were a shield against the “dark arts” of “The Wigwam.” It is said that after eating Blue Moon ice cream your soul is encased in a holy aura that not even the darkest of crafts can break through.

There’s no arguing with that.

I bet Blue Sky is really glad that Coldstone is gone.

I, personally, am really glad Coldstone is gone. That whole “sing for tips” thing drives me crazy. What of masochist enjoys that kind of forced frivolity? Ugh. I did enjoy the Kit-Kat mix-in, however.
