Maybe Don Samuels had a point….

As seen at Overheard in Minneapolis:

During a community forum that was called in response to outrage directed at Councilmember Don Samuels for his hyperbolic statement “…we should burn North High down” speaking of the failure to educate our children.

Angry North High Student: My school is the goodest school in all of Minneapolis, how can you say burn it down?!

One could argue that this statement could have been embellished for the sake of Overheard entertainment, but…. I’m thinking no.

    lol Left out of the overheard: Further explanation that the student then had to correct herself a few times before realizing the correct way to phrase the statement.
