Ketsana’s #29 is my #1
I’ve been on vacation in Central Florida for the last week and a half. I know none of you feel bad I was sitting in sunny 70s sun whilst you were enduring 50 hours of sub zero temps. But if it makes you feel better, I stepped off the plane and promptly got a nasty cold.
What do I do when I am too stuffed up to breathe? Head to my favorite Thai restaurant for some spicy goodness.
The restaurant in question is Ketsana’s Thai Restaurant at 76th and Lyndale in Richfield (just off 494). Luckily I work nearby, so our company orders in for meetings a couple times a month. But this weekend I made a special trip for a #29, spicy chicken and spinach in peanut sauce.
The site has been host to myriad restaurants, and to be honest, the interior and service aren’t the greatest. Don’t expect refills or anyone to stop back and ask if your food suits you. There’s also no liquor to make the restaurant a destination.
BUT the food is a sinus-clearing delight. The pad thai is arguably the best in town, beef salad is tasty, eggs rolls are divine, and even the curries are good. But again, I recommend the #29. Know of any other primo Thai restaurants in the Metro? Please do share…

I gotta agree with you on this one! I prefer their vegetarian egg rolls to meat-filled kind, but all of it is pretty darn good. They’re accomodating, too; once I had a “Thai party” where 12 or so people came over and we got a bunch of food from Ketsana’s. They handled the large to-go order really well.
#42 lover here.
As my co-workers and I so lovingly call it, “Dirty Thai”. So named for the condition inside.
