Pioneer Press Blogs: Where are they?
Is it just me, or are they really freaking difficult to find? If you click on “Web logs” from the PiPress front page, it only lists City Hall Scoop. If you go to blogs.twincities.com (where I would expect to see the list), it takes you to City Hall Scoop. I know Ross By Rosswest is out there, but is it actually linked anywhere? And I would expect all the PiPress blogs to have links to all the other PiPress blogs. But that is apparently not the case.
What am I missing?

There’s a blog bug on the main page that points to recent posts on all our staff blogs. Cheers…
P.S. My Pioneer Press tech blog will soon have links to all the othe P.P. blogs, per your tip.
Thanks for the tip, Julio. I see them now. I’d still like to see the “blog” page actually list all the blogs.
Another question: Why are all the PiPress blogs hosted in different places? A couple are at blogs.twincities.com, one’s on blogspot, and you’ve got a Typepad blog. Besides not being able to access them from a central location, they all look different. No continuity or much to indicate they’re all connected to the Pioneer Press and to each other.
Speaking only for myself, I’m a big believer in letting each Pioneer Press blog have its own look and personality. The cookie-cutter approach is a mistake.
But you’re right, there should be some low-level consistency to signal they’re all part of the same outfit. That’s not my call, I just go about my own blogging business, but I’m sure what you’re suggesting will come about in some form eventually.
My blog, for your background, predated the others and arose of my own initiative before my paper had a blogging push of any kind.
P.S. I just added links on my blog to all the other P.P. blogs.
