Minnehopeless

Minnesota may be “Number 1″ in a lot of ways, but when it comes to American Idol ‘talent’ we don’t have it.

At one point, Randy called it “Minne-hopeless,” while Simon berated one reject by saying, “You have just summed up Minneapolis for me … useless in everything.”

The Prince montage at the end was a nice touch though.

Ross has a minute-by-minute account of the Minneapolis show on his blog. Ugh. Again, our country has some messed up priorities that this is the #1 thing on TV.

I haven’t watched it yet, but I taped it. I’m gonna have to read along with the liveblog.

    Gawd, this is awful.

I lost count of how many people that made the cut were actually from the area.

Somebody told me they knew that Rachel Jenkins chick (the Army reservist from Minnetonka who sang in her camo) and now I can’t remember who it was. I liked her.
