I hear Comcast just jacked up their monthly cable internet rate from about $45/month (the former Time Warner rate) to $60/month plus a $3 modem rental fee. It’s got MNspeakers good and pissed and they’ve aggregated some good info. Alternative providers and their services/rates. Hm, I just got a new rate chart and didn’t notice a difference. It is cheaper, though, if you also have cable. (And people still rent modems? Don’t they realize they can buy them cheaply?)
