Both Twin Cities Top 2006 Most Literate City List
For the second year in a row, Minneapolis has been edged out by Seattle as the Most Literate City in America. The 2006 rankings were published last month.
Except that both Minneapolis and St. Paul made the top ten list both years. In 2006, Minneapolis was #2 and St. Paul was #5. In 2005, Minneapolis was #2 and St. Paul was tied for 10th. Way to move up, St. Paul. Now if only Minneapolis would stop closing libraries.
I think it’s safe to say that we still win. Take that, Seattle!

I don’t buy it. When I do the math, this looks like Minneapolis-St. Paul should be combined to 3.5th place.
That’s fuzzy math.
