Tomorrow night, Friday, 10 Nov 2006, Mill City Museum is hosting a fundraiser for Melody Gilbert’s documentary film, “Urban Explorers: Into the Darkness“. I saw a short version of this film at one of the Riverview Theater’s short showcases last spring. What I saw was very good, and your admission into the screening (plus any donation you make while there, I’m sure) will help Gilbert complete the film. Plus, the admission gets you access to the museum itself, and a special tour of areas once a haunt of urban explorers.

Admission is 15 bucks, 12 for MN Historical Society members. Doors open at 6:30, screening is at 8. There’s a cash bar, and a Q&A with Gilbert and some of the explorers featured in the movie aftewards.
