Minneapolis School Board Candidate linked to Tammy Lee hate site

Craig Cox at the Minnesota Monitor reported yesterday on the possible link between a “political satire” website using bigoted language to criticize Martin Sabo’s endorsement of Tammy Lee and Minneapolis School Board candidate Chris Stewart.

The parody site is obviously no longer available cached here. Cox’s article carries this quote from the site:

“Tammy Lee is the Best Choice to Replace Congressman Martin Sabo,” the site reads. “After all, she’s white - just like us, and that means we can trust her. We should all agree that a Negro should never replace a great statesman like Martin Sabo.”

The “Meet Tammy Lee” link brings the visitor to a Ku Klux Klan, and other tabs link to Wikipedia items on “White Power” and “White Nationalism.”

Tammy Lee apparently then tried to blame it on Keith Ellison, whose campaign adamantly denies having anything to do with it.

“a little bit of info, a lot of blather” really sums that whole site up, not just the post.

That’s about what I was thinking when I wrote that.
