Metro Transit popular with Twins fans

According to Metro Transit, Twins fans set ridership records taking buses and trains to the games. Between light rail rides, supplemental buses along the light rail route, and shuttle buses from three park-and-ride lots, one quarter of the Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon sold-out ALDS game attendees made their way to the Metrodome via public transit.

    We had to wait for 4 trains to go by before we could squeeze onto on at the Lake Street station right before the Tuesday Playoff game. We drove on Wednesday…

    I always take the train to regular season games, but we ended up driving to the postseason games. The trains looked incredibly packed, though.
