Sick of Waiting in Line?

If you are, stop complaining! Minneapolis ranks 3rd in the nation for getting you through the checkout line!

On average, consumers here wait about 3 minutes and 41 seconds. The researchers studied times at a number of businesses, including grocery stores, clothing retailers, fast food restaurants and gas station convenience stores, among several others.

Only Phoenix, Arizona and Portland, Oregon have quicker checkout lines. You could be living in Baltimore which ranked 25th out of 25 because of the gruelling 5 minutes and 13 seconds that citizens of that city must endure to get through the checkout line.

How the hell did that study get funded? And I take little comfort in finding out that we’re better than Baltimore.

Hey! I’m writing a piece on that for D.C., but I too, am glad that we’re better than Baltimore.
