Myth-ing out

I’m not going to get my first look at the Myth in Maplewood tonight, because the Scissor Sisters concert there has been cancelled, as well as their next two shows in Chicago on the 8th and Toronto on the 10th. One of the band member is on enforced rest and medical attention for back problems. I missed them the last time they were in town, and almost missed them because of an impromptu Chicago trip this weekend (which also got cancelled). The plan was to come back from Chicago on Sunday, so I wouldn’t have been able to seem them there, either, even if the show hadn’t been cancelled. Maybe I would’ve seen their tour bus going by on 94, as we were heading back. Hopefully the show will be rescheduled, and I’ll finally get to see them. And meet a husband at the concert. I hear they’re big with the gays.

I know! I am ever so pissed that I didn’t get to see them last night. I was even able to get myself on the guest list and everything.
